Thousands Say Yes to Jesus in Chicago!

You can celebrate with us over what God just did in Chicago-land! We experienced two powerful nights of ministry with Evangelists Reinhard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda at the Allstate Arena for the Great Lakes Reinhard Bonnke Gospel Crusade on June 26th and 27th. Many lives were changed forever! In the weeks leading up to the meetings, we were overflowing with anticipation as over 460 churches across denominational, cultural, and racial lines worked together, prayed together, and believed that their region would be shaken with the power of God. We heard from many pastors that it has literally been decades since the churches worked together at this level and at with such unity! Even in advance of the crusade, hundreds of people came to Jesus on the streets at pre-crusade outreaches and many dozens testified of being healed and filled with the Holy Spirit. On the first night of the crusade, despite rain and other obstacles, the Allstate Arena filled with enthusiastic people ready for this historic moment. The Planetshakers worship team from Australia led the crowd in anointed praise and worship that charged and prepared the atmosphere with enthusiasm and increased the expectation of the evening. Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke preached a red-hot Gospel message to the thousands in attendance with authority and clarity. As he gave the call to respond to the message of the Gospel and the grace of Jesus Christ, hundreds quickly streamed forward to “say YES to Jesus!” What a mighty God we serve! Evangelist Daniel Kolenda then took the stage and prayed that God would heal all those in attendance. It was amazing to see the hundreds that also came forward testify of being touched by the power of God and healed. The second night of the crusade was even more powerful. Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke once again preached a powerful Gospel message and hundreds responded to the call of salvation again. After the altar call he prayed for all that wanted to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The expectancy and energy reached a peak just before he prayed. Then the Allstate Arena erupted and thundered with the sound of the Glory of God. It is hard to even explain the sound and feeling we all experienced that night. Wow, is all I can say! We know thousands were mightily touched with the power and presence of God. Over these two nights, well over 18,000 people came together to worship and participate in the Gospel Crusade. Both nights hundreds of people hurried to the altars to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Please see and share the pictures at this link. We are praising the Lord that a total of nearly 2,000 people made decisions for Jesus at the arena and at crusade events leading up to the crusade. The crusade committee and CfaN team are right now hard at work sending these decision cards to local churches all over Chicago-land for follow-up from local churches. What a privilege to be a part of an end-time outpouring! Despite the bad news in the media, we believe that God has Good News for his people.
