Compassion for the lost
Dear {{FNAME}},
Our second CfaN School of Evangelism in Cape Town is already in full swing, already in its fourth week! The new intake of budding evangelists come from South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia. And from the first week, they’ve been leading people to Jesus.
In fact, to date the students have seen 161 documented decisions for Jesus. This past weekend, they preached the Gospel in some dangerous areas, known for high levels of prostitution, drugs and gang activity. They were also in some of Cape Town’s biggest malls, as well as on the streets and in the nightclubs of Stellenbosch, sharing the Good News, praying for the sick and ministering wherever the Lord was leading them.
It is beautiful to see the deep compassion for the lost that motivates these young people. They are hungry to learn and to put into practice what they’ve gained. There is an urgency in their spirits to win people for Jesus and such boldness in their sharing of the Gospel. Stepping out in faith, they have lead several Muslims to Christ. This is the power of the Living Word! As the Lord says in Isaiah 55:11, “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”
Please continue to pray for these students, for our team, and for the people they will share the Gospel with in the remaining four weeks of the School of Evangelism.
Together with you for the harvest,
Evangelist Daniel Kolenda
(and the CfaN South Africa team)
